CHRC recognizes the importance of developing country capacity to conduct periodic evaluations in order to assess their progress toward achieving stated programme outcomes. The focus is on helping countries to obtain information which can be used to inform programme improvement and improve results. Under the CARICOM Global Fund Round 9 Grant, CHRC has been provided an important opportunity to conduct programme evaluations in several countries. Moreover, CHRC will utilize a ‘learn by doing’ approach by working with country staff to conduct evaluations.
