The Virtual Health Library (VHL), an initiative of BIREME/PAHO/WHO, supports equitable access to health information for improving decision-making among health professionals and civil society. Content, including scientific and technical information, is organised at thematic, national and regional levels. Resources are stored in electronic format and include directories, news sources, portals, virtual communities and bibliographic databases.
