The 58th Annual Research Conference was held in Barbados during May 2-4th 2013. The final Conference Programme will soon be available.

The Annual Research Conference is the flagship activity of the CHRC and has been successfully hosted every year since 1956. Usually held the third week in April, it is the largest health research conference in the English speaking Caribbean with over 200 delegates in attendance. The latter comprise researchers, policy makers and health care providers thus creating a unique network of health stakeholders who share needs, information and experiences.

The Conference venue is rotated throughout the Caribbean and is often hosted in exotic settings that facilitate a special camaraderie among delegates. Collaborations are spawned not only among researchers but with all stakeholders.

Some important information:

A special rate of US$ 237 per night has been negotiated for conference attendees. This special rate is in effect from April 25^th to May 7^th 2013, subject to availability.

Reservation deadline extended to April 5th 2013 

Two nights deposit is required by Hilton, (refundable up to 14 days in advance of arrival date, after which it is nonrefundable). Major credit cards are acceptable to establish prepayment. All credit cards used to prepay will be charged immediately.
