The Caribbean Health Research Council (CHRC) is the regional health institution with the mandate to promote and coordinate health research in the Caribbean. 
It serves countries that are members of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), providing advice to their Ministries of Health and other stakeholders and generally supporting research related activities.

CARPHA\CHRC Conference

CALL FOR PAPERS

The 59th Annual CARPHA (CHRC) Conference will be held in Aruba from May 1st – 3rd, 2014.

 

The theme for 2014 is Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases Through the Life Cycle i.e. from childhood to the elderly. Note that although the Conference is themed, we will accept quality research papers in all health areas for presentation.

 

Manuscripts and Abstracts should be submitted by:  01st November 2013.

Receipt of submissions will be acknowledged.  If you do not receive acknowledgement within three (3) days of submission, please contact the CARPHA Secretariat at conference@carpha.org at 868-622-4261 or 868-299-0895

CARPHA
CARPHA is the Health Agency of the Caribbean region with a collective response to strengthen and reorient the health system and approach to address the changing nature of public health challenges, particularly in relation to communicable diseases such as HIV / AIDS and Non-Communicable Diseases, such as obesity, cancer, heart disease and diabetes. CARPHA will support this by adopting a truly people-centred, evidence-based approach to its work. It will continue to address long term persistent threats to the Region related to natural disasters
